Within the walls of this institute you will find fantasies, horrors, and twisted realities of multi media forms. These are places where the faeries play and the dragons roam. The zombies howl at their single minded mundanity, forlorn that their brains have been turned to mush and desperately seeking others for their miserable company.
Ah, but then we relate. We see a heartfelt string of reality plucked. That tune resonates within our own sense of realities, where our true fears manifest. We see boys and girls falling in love, desperation and loneliness in cheap hotel rooms, carnival rides and circus slideshows. The lines are drawn clear between our world and others only to be stepped over by that rascally insect. We may question the sanity of the narrator's perspective, but the flea does not discriminate. He rides between these worlds on whatever traveler unknowingly takes him. Be it madman, beast, elven, or professional the flea cares not of these things. He suckles the veins of their scalps for their life essences, their stories.
Messianically, he will return them to You, the stumbling wanderer who has found their way into this place of insignificance.
Do not stare too long at the stars
or linger too close to mountains
since they may place you in the Grand Scheme and you may be carrying a passenger.
Enjoy these tales of many form. Explore them. Digest them. Regurgitate.
Then, pass it along to a friend. |

| Daudi Rainmaker - Over the Mountains - part1 |
|
| |
Traveling through the mountains this close to the solstice can be tricky, especially for me. The cycle of condensation and precipitation for you is a scientific explanation. To me it is a means from one place to another. It is not my only method. Like, say I need to get to the grocery store, I can walk like the rest of you or drive a car. Now, pretend I need to get over a mountain range and cut through a valley between them to a hideaway camp for the half fae folk. A car would do it. The emission faeries would be pleased. It would take a while and who wants to sit on leather seats for hours on end when you can fly. Ask a businessman. Flying is always quicker, even if it isn’t. |

| The Road to Nederland (early spring) |
|
| |
Ned is an old hippie town with cheaper rent than Boulder, but more expensive groceries and food. It sits right on the Eldora Mountain and Ski Resort. It is usually very windy, so not as popular as Breckenridge or Vail. It has a lake and a dam that provide all of the water for Boulder creek aside from the snow melt tributaries. The Road to Nederland from Boulder follows the creek on the aptly named road, Canyon. There was a little construction at the beginning and Boulder Falls was closed because of snow melt causing falling rocks. Since it was still cold up at the top, there was broken ice on the lake viewable from a scenic overlook. |

A Note to the Visitor - before going onward
|
| |
I have recently completely retooled the site entire. It felt tlike Blogger was burying me in the SEO and I did not have the control over the page that I wanted. None of the content lived here. It was like buying a house, but all of your stuff was still in an appartment. Basically, everything is new. I created new page layouts for all of the stories.
There are lots of dead links and raw data template pages without much beauty in here. Sorry about that. I am still in boxes. When I get the place set up, you will be invited to the party. |
